Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) #

The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) is an interface bus commonly used to send data between microcontrollers and sensors and other hardware devices. It uses separate clock and data lines, along with a SELECT line to choose which device is being communicated with. It is one of the interfaces used on the Raspberry Pi.
