The MR01 is a Mars rover project currently under development.

It is designed in three phases:

  1. Phase 0: a preliminary test bed design to try out new ideas and establish a base line for hardware and software
  2. Phase 1: a 4 wheel Mars rover with a single back rocker suspension
  3. Phase 2: a 6 wheel Mars rover with triple-rocker suspension

There's also a public GitHub repository for this project's operating system, MROS.

This project is very much early days, hardware is just now being implemented, with the beginnings of MROS, based on the KROS-Core OS of the KR01 robot.
